Kumejima Island

Kumejima (久米島) is one of the islands that make up the Okinawa Shoto island bunch. It is situated around 90 kilometers west of Okinawa Honto. In the same way as other of the little islands encompassing Okinawa Honto, Kumejima offers a significantly less created rendition of the shorelines and Okinawan society for which the prefecture is understood. Kumejima is little, and going starting with one end of the island then onto the next once in a while includes a voyage longer than ten kilometers.

Like somewhere else in Okinawa, the shorelines of Kumejima, snorkeling and jumping are among the central attractions for guests. Hatenohama Beach, a roughly seven kilometer long sand bar encompassed by water only east of the island, is Kumejima's most well known fascination. The shoreline is profoundly respected for its white sand, however must be gotten to by joining a visit. Alternate shorelines of Kumejima are likewise very alluring, and are for the most part less occupied than the shorelines found on Okinawa.
