Kusatsu Hot Spring Baths

Kusatsu has the biggest characteristic stream of hot spring water in all of Japan, a lot of which surfaces at the Yubatake in the town focus. The sulfurous, profoundly acidic waters have been considered among Japan's best for a considerable length of time, and the resort town has always possessed a top spot in onsen rankings. It is hard to beat Kusatsu as far as quality and amount of its waters.

Kusatsu's waters can be delighted in at the town's open showers and ryokan. The most unmistakable open showers are the Sainokawara Rotemburo (vast outside pools in Sainokawara Park), the Otakinoyu with its one of a kind Awaseyu showers that components numerous wooden pools with distinctive water temperatures, and the Gozanoyu, a lovely wooden building beside the Yubatake with two straightforward, conventional showers.
