Nyuto Onsen

       Nyuto Onsen is a gathering of onsen ryokan in the mountains of eastern Akita Prefecture. The range is known for the hot spring showers found at its eight ryokan, some of which are very conventional and provincial. With a past filled with more than 300 years, Tsurunoyu is Nyuto Onsen's most seasoned and most well known hotel. 
       The name Nyuto Onsen signifies "areola hot spring" and originates from the suggestive state of adjacent Mount Nyuto as opposed to the smooth/overcast appearance of the territory's hot spring water. All the hot spring showers in Nyuto Onsen fit in with ryokan, and are accessible to staying visitors, as well as to day trippers amid specific hours and against a little confirmation expense.
